Zolo Technologies has been named a Colorado Company to Watch award winner for 2010 among over 400 nominated companies.
The Colorado Companies to Watch program, developed by the Edward Lowe Foundation, and presented by M3 Insurance, energizes the state of Colorado by recognizing private, second-stage companies that are developing valuable products and services, creating quality jobs, enriching communities, and creating new industries throughout the state. Second-stage companies fuel the economic fire of Colorado by accounting for much of the economic growth and economic independence of individuals throughout the state.
Zolo Technologies, based in Boulder, Colorado, has been recognized for its work in developing unique, sophisticated measurement sensors that permit coal-fired power plants and gas-fired turbines to operate more efficiently and therefore with lower emissions. Zolo is selling its sensor around the world including: USA, Germany, United Kingdom, Korea and China. CEO, Henrik Hofvander said, “Not many people realize that a local company, in Boulder, Colorado, is doing so much to help reduce the CO2 impact of coal-fired power plants around the world.
