Colorado Governor’s Office For “New Energy Economic Development” Awards Zolo Technologies Grant For Green Technology Innovation

Zolo Technologies, Inc. is chosen by the Colorado Governor, Bill Ritter’s Energy Office to receive a portion of the $350,000 awarded for “New Energy Economic Development” (NEED). Zolo Technologies will receive $25,000 in grant funds for efforts in contributing to energy efficiency and green technology specifically in coal-fired power plants. The award is a part of the first round of grants given to eight innovative Colorado companies.  “These grants are giving organizations a ‘hand up’ in advancing emerging energy technologies into the marketplace that help us reduce our energy usage and carbon footprint,” Tom Plant, director of the energy office, said in a statement.
